On the mind, seeing both sides, and Dune
Hey everyone,
As the pace of life ebbs and flows, some weeks I have more time for The Log than others.
I havenāt been able to adhere to my typical writing routine this week and as such, sharing an abbreviated version:
Roots - 3 things on my mind
Leaves - 2 different perspectives on loneliness
Trunk - 1 quote to get you thinking
Back to regular scheduled programming soon!
Hope your day is good šŖµ

Somethings from me
Iāve been thinking about the connections already in our lives as it relates to dating and apps and abundance as Iāve mentioned in the past. Interesting to pose the question of taking for granted what might be staring you in the face!
Iāve received a lot of questions about how to find the right therapist as a guy? Would Loggers be interested in learning more about this? The short answer is I donāt know, but Iād be happy to put some thoughts/outline together.
Responsibility of being a parent and of being a dad to a son came up in a recent conversation and I thought it was interesting. A future Roots topic perhaps. Anyone have ponderings on this?

Something to leave you with
Sharing two Leaves seeing about Loneliness in the US from two different points of view. Seeing both sides as they say!

How we grow
Yes, I saw Dune this week and yes Iām a fan. Hereās a classic/cliche Frank Herbert quote that gives me life:
āFear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past me I will turn to see fearās path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.ā
The goal of this blog is to learn a ton and to help others do the same.
